The month wraps up with road games against the Chicago Blackhawks on October 25 and the Tampa Bay Lightning on October 28, where Steven Stamkos will face his former team for the first time. The Preds close out October with a home game against Edmonton on October 31.
November features a packed schedule with a blend of home games and road trips. A two-game homestand kicks off the month with Colorado and Los Angeles on November 2-4, followed by road games against Washington and the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers. A historic moment awaits on November 9 as Nashville hosts the NHL's newest team, the Utah Hockey Club. A grueling five-game road trip (November 11-20) sees the Preds battle Colorado, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, and Seattle. They return home to face Winnipeg on November 23 before closing out the month against New Jersey (November 25), Philadelphia (November 27), and Tampa Bay (November 29). A five-game homestand, the longest of the season, sees Nashville hosting Washington, Vegas, Chicago, Minnesota, and San Jose from January 11-21. The month wraps up with road games against San Jose and Anaheim before returning home to face Vancouver and closing out January in Buffalo.
February is a lighter month with six home games and two on the road, including a nearly two-week break for the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament. The Preds start on the road in Pittsburgh (February 1) before returning home to play Ottawa (February 3) and a back-to-back set against Chicago (February 7) and Buffalo (February 8). After the international break, Nashville hosts Colorado, New Jersey, Florida, and Winnipeg from February 22-27.
