In front of a large crowd, Mars Hill Bible (Florence, AL) stormed into Madison Academy's home turf on a hot Friday night and left with an emphatic 34-7 non-conference victory. From start to finish, Mars Hill Bible asserted their dominance, capitalizing on explosive plays and a relentless defense.

First Quarter: Setting the Tone
The game kicked off with Madison Academy on defense, but Mars Hill Bible wasted no time showcasing their offensive prowess. A long pass from Mars Hill’s #11 to #21 Hudson Higgins moved the ball to their own 40-yard line. Just a few plays later, #8 Borden Saint bolted 50 yards for the game’s first touchdown, putting the Panthers up 7-0 early. Madison Academy struggled to gain momentum, punting the ball back to Mars Hill Bible midway through the first quarter.
Second Quarter: Madison Academy Strikes Back
Mars Hill Bible extended their lead early in the second quarter with another rushing touchdown, this time a 1-yard effort from #11. A missed PAT left the score at 13-0. Madison Academy looked to respond and moved the ball into Mars Hill territory. With just two minutes left in the half, Madison Academy finally broke through with a passing touchdown, trimming the lead to 13-7 as the teams headed into the football locker room.
Third Quarter: Mars Hill Pulls Away
The third quarter belonged to Mars Hill Bible, as they took control of the game once again. A 12-yard rushing touchdown by Borden Saint was followed by another powerful 18-yard run. With both PATs good, Mars Hill surged ahead 27-7. Madison Academy had opportunities to respond, but a critical turnover on downs at Mars Hill’s 7-yard line killed their hopes of a comeback.
Fourth Quarter: Sealing the Deal
Mars Hill Bible's defense continued to stifle Madison Academy’s offense, and with four minutes remaining in the game, the Panthers iced the victory with a 40-yard rushing touchdown. The final score stood at 34-7, as Mars Hill Bible’s dominance on both sides of the ball was undeniable.
